Super delicious and fresh food in a nice rustic atmosphere, surrounded by redwoods. Many ingredients are organic and locally sourced. Coffee drinks are also very good. They often have live music as well. Recommendations: Avocado toast, tuna melt, and banana bread!
Lovely little hidden gem up in the mountains. It’s a little mini store/restaurant with a rich history (check out their website for more info). I love to come and study up here from San Jose. It’s a very peaceful area. Lots of trees, birds, butterflies, and more. I have seen a stellar’s Jay, towhee, dark head junco, and red shouldered hawks.
We had a wonderful time in this restaurant. The dishes are delicious and served with a smile. The decor is beautiful. Spacious room with wooden toys for kids. Calm, pleasant, lovely light… I highly recommend this place.
Saw this place on maps and made the beautiful drive here to pick up picnic supplies for a local hike. What a great selection of drinks, food, snacks and store items for healthy basic necessities. We got a couple wraps, pasta salad and thank the heavens we decided to get a piece of coffee cake. It’s one of the best I’ve ever had! We are going to plan a day to come here to eat again soon. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Live music only added to the great vibe this special place already has.
Loma Mar Outpost is in the middle of the redwoods and a perfect spot to stop in the middle of a weekend drive. While the menu is smaller, it provides a calming and more relaxing atmosphere than Alice’s just up the road. Loma Mar has a great selection of muffins, cookies, and croissants. The outpost’s refrigerators are stocked with ice cream, beer, and other weekend necessities. We ordered lunch, which had a short hiccup that was immediately fixed, and ate on the deck which was perfect. Highly recommend an oatmilk cappuccino, avocado toast, and the open face tuna sandwich. Oh, and don’t forget to grab an ice cream sandwich on the way out!
Absolutely charming! Loma Mar Outpost is such a cozy and beautiful spot, it truly gives you that warm and fuzzy feeling the moment you step inside. I loved everything I tried! The Avocado Toast was fresh and delicious, and the Hot Chocolate was the perfect accompaniment. Lovely!! The service was fast, and the staff were incredibly nice people. It’s a beautiful, multi-purpose space that includes a charming little store too, making it a perfect stop for more than just a meal. Highly recommend
Ordered a ham and cheese croissant, mocha, and strawberry lemonade cheesecake. - Mocha lacked chocolate flavor, felt like a nice latte :-/ - Ham and cheese croissant, while freshly made in house, was refrigerated. On reheating, it was perfectly nice and flaky on the outside but cold on the inside: think fridge temp ham and unmelted cheese :-/ - Ordered a cupcake sized strawberry lemonade cheesecake. This was incredibly delicious. But at $10 seemed a touch steep Staff was kind and friendly and this place has a wonderful vibe. Will give it another visit.
Atmosphere is pretty great. Very cute little store/cafe. I would definitely go out of my way to visit this place for the atmosphere alone but it also has the benefit of having great food and service
